Mona E. Parr 97 Sanford, Florida formerly of Oblong, Illinois

died Monday August 20, 2001 at Healthcare Rehab Center of

Sanford, Florida. She was born July 14, 1904 in Jasper County,

Illinois and was the daughter of John Marvin Harrison and

Agusta Elizabeth (Isley) Harrison. On December 17, 1922 she

married Don Parr. He died December 22, 1979. Mona was a

retired Elementary Teacher and also retired from Helen's Style

Shop in Oblong. She was a member of First Christian Church

Oblong and a member of the Priscilla Circle of the church.


Mona is survived by 2 granddaughters Sherrye Parr and

Lori Parr; 1 grandson Kevin Parr as well as several nieces

and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents,

husband, 1 son Ralph Parr and 1 sister Fern Biggs.
